FAQ
Access and pricing
Section titled “Access and pricing”How do I get an account? WeHarness is an invitation-only pilot. Request a demo or write to info@weharness.io. See Getting access.
Can I sign up or pay in the app? Not yet. There is no public sign-up and no payment. WeHarness invites people and adds credits to workspaces.
What are the packages? Starter (1,500 credits), Medium (2,500 credits) and Large (5,000 credits). Medium and Large include bring your own key. During the pilot WeHarness assigns a package on request. Team, Scale, top-ups, a trial and monthly renewal are proposed, not purchasable. See Credits and usage.
Do I ever see prices in a currency? No. You see credits. The only amounts in a currency are Monitoring’s estimated provider cost of your own application, from the tokens your traces report. See Monitoring.
What does a message cost? What its models used: at least 1 credit, at most 100. A plan version uses 5 to 25 credits; a plan that only asks questions uses none. See What uses credits.
What happens at zero credits? Work already running finishes. New work waits until credits are added. Reading, pushing finished work and exporting still work.
Models and keys
Section titled “Models and keys”Which models can a session use? Gemini 3.8 Flash (the default) and Claude Sonnet 5.5 today. Other models in the picker show coming soon. See Models.
Is a proprietary or fine-tuned model required? No. Sessions run on general-purpose models through provider adapters, and you choose the model. Plans are checked by WeHarness’s decision model, Elephant-1, whichever model you choose.
Can I use my own API key? Yes, for Gemini, OpenAI and Claude models, with the Medium or Large package. Calls on your key use no credits. See Model keys.
Your code and data
Section titled “Your code and data”Does WeHarness run my code on its servers? No. Customer code runs only in isolated, disposable sandboxes at E2B, never inside WeHarness’s own services and never with WeHarness’s keys. Reading and indexing your repository never executes anything. See Cloud work.
Does WeHarness push to my repository?
Only when a person approves a push in the web app. It writes to a weharness/… branch, opens a pull request, and never merges. See GitHub.
Are my secrets uploaded?
No. .env files, private keys, credential files and similar are left out by name and by content, and never sent to any provider. See Project context.
Are prompts and outputs in my traces stored? Not by default: only metadata. Content is kept only when the ingest key keeps content and your SDK sends it. Traces are deleted after 14 days. See Tracing.
Where is my data kept? Application servers and databases in Türkiye, uploaded files in the European Union, sandboxes in E2B’s US region, and model calls with the provider of the model in use. See Security.
Can I export or delete my data? Owners and admins export a workspace from Settings → Data. Deleting a session deletes its project, with a recorded purge. See Retention and export and Deleting a project.
Approvals and coding tools
Section titled “Approvals and coding tools”Can my coding tool approve a plan or a push? No. Plans, environments, pushes, scenario cases, lessons and budget increases are approved only by a person signed in to the web app. No model, coding tool or API token can approve.
Which coding tools work with WeHarness? Any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth sign-in. Connect MCP has steps for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Devin, OpenCode, Hermes and OpenClaw. WeHarness has not yet verified each one end to end. Claude on the web and ChatGPT are not enabled yet. See MCP overview.
Does my coding tool send my local code to WeHarness? Only within a file-transfer scope you approve in Connect MCP. Connecting a project alone does not send its files. You review the exact paths and purpose before sharing; secrets, generated folders and binaries remain excluded. Local test reports can send command results and a candidate digest without file contents, and do not start a cloud sandbox. See Your local project.
Does WeHarness learn from my workspace for other customers? No. Memory and lessons stay in your workspace; nothing is learned across workspaces.
Tracing
Section titled “Tracing”Do I have to use the WeHarness SDK? No. Any OpenTelemetry SDK works with two environment variables. See Plain OpenTelemetry.
How many traces are included? 10,000 spans a month. Above that, 1,000 spans use 1 credit, counted over the month. A span is one step of a trace. See Traces.
